Pumpkins Against Breast Cancer

The time has come once again to think pink.CNTY_PinkPumpkinBenefit_100314B

In cooperation with the First Company Pink, the Got Checked Organization and Bzarry Events, Inc., Nassau County will host its first annual Pink Pumpkin Patch on Wednesday, Oct. 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building, 1550 Franklin Ave., Mineola. All proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Get there early and bring your family and friends for the pink pumpkin patch – where all pumpkins will be painted pink and bedazzled in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Refreshments and treats will be served including coffee from Starbucks and sweets from The Chocolate Duck. At 7 p.m. the dome will be lit with pink lights for the cause.
